Raw Chef Carla

Carla Martins is a certified Raw Vegan Chef by Matthew Kenney Culinary and Raw Food Educator by Drs. Karin and Rick Dina. Her passion for raw foods started when she was 20 years old, inspired by her nutritionist mother who came across raw foods while battling depression and noticed a significant improvement in her mental health through dietary changes. Fascinated by the health benefits and intrigued by the creative aspect of a raw food cuisine, Carla started changing her diet to mainly raw vegan. She immediately felt the benefits in her body: improved digestion, increased energy levels, better sleep and skin, and that continued inspiring her to play in the kitchen. Gradually people around her were intrigued by her way of eating, and a business came to fruition. In 2012 she taught her first UNcooking Class and became very passionate about helping others improve their own health through delicious and fun creations. Currently Raw Chef Carla has a raw vegan desserts business and teaches culinary classes (both in person and online)
